AI and creativity
Talk at Front Conference on what AI changes about creative work, and what it does not.
In-app referral system for frontline workers, built and shipped as Tech Lead of the Incubation team.
Growth leaned on paid channels and the cost kept climbing. Frontline workers used the product daily and knew people who would benefit, but there was no in-product way to bring their network in. Word of mouth never turned into seats.
I designed the referral engine end to end: eligibility, attribution, automatic job scraping from third-party vendors, fraud checks, reward fulfilment, and a microfrontend that drops into both web and mobile. I built the team, ran the go-to-market with Sales and Product, and designed for a 99.99% SLA from day one.
Attribution is the hard part of any growth feature. Once it was airtight, the referral engine became the platform's top acquisition channel and a real share of new seat growth. Ship the boring plumbing first.
