Problem
A research drone had to become a commercial service. No software, no cloud, no operations stack. Reliability had to be enterprise grade from day one to land partners like Unilever.
What I built
I built the stack from scratch: flight control APIs, logistics optimisation, a ground operations console in Vue, a Java and PostgreSQL backend, CI/CD, and the AWS infrastructure. I designed for fault tolerance from the start: every decision auditable, every failure recoverable.
What I learned
500+ real-world deliveries, 40% faster than baseline, a 99.5% safety record, zero incidents. The Unilever partnership and the CES Las Vegas showcase came from that record. In hardware, reliability is the feature. Everything else is a demo.
